Varcode’s FreshCode™ system enables end-to-end time and temperature monitoring of frozen and chilled products at a low cost and ease of use. The solution provides objective, accurate and trackable data regarding temperature changes using a smart disposable barcode label that change its barcode value in the event of time and temperature breach. This data is accessible throughout the supply chain by a standard barcode scanner or by smartphone and using a cloud-based, blockchain compatible storage system.
